The 2011 Spokane City Championship will take place on:

Friday, August 26th at Esmeralda

Saturday, August 27th at Downriver

Sunday, August 28th at The Creek at Qualchan

 

The Spokane City Championship has much history in Spokane, dating back to 1943 when Irving Cornell won what was then referred to as the Spokane Municipal Championship, which continued until the 1980's. This Championship icon was rekindled in 2005 and has grown every year since. In 2006 a very popular Senior Division was added.

 

The tournament has grown from 60 players three years ago to 140 in 2009.  The City Championship has become the most prestigious amateur event in the region attracting more than 140 players in 2009. The tournament is open to anyone with an established handicap and players come from Seattle, Tri-Cities, Idaho, Montana and Canada. Past Champions include:
